24-hour Microsoft Certified Career Conference from your chair!
I love conferences and exhibitions! The buzz of many new things to see, networking, freebies, previews and learning something new.
The format is different for Microsoft Certified Career Conference (MCC) too which is quite strange for me as i needed a lot of coffee and tea to keep up as it was all Online and rolling for 24 hours non stop! (You can go and sleep and watch recordings of the presentations you have missed)
Microsoft Certified Career Conference 2011 is a virtual 24 hour conference that is happening on Thursday 17th February 2011 (In London – starting at 12PM). The event run continuing throughout the 24 hours from different speakers on the opportunity available on becoming Microsoft Certified, Using your Microsoft Certification to get on, help/advice/tricks and knowledge on how to land your dream job from many of the experts. There is more too!
I was given the opportunity to attend the earlier Microsoft Certified Career Conference 2010 held on 18th November 2010, where i had the insight from many great speakers from all over the world. There were many 60 minute sessions on PowerPoint Rock Star, keeping your inbox in control and Windows 7 Wizard Rock Star 20 End User Tricks that will Change the Way you Work. (Only mentioned three of them but there are many more ) All delivered by experts! Plus you get to chat to all the people, including the presenters all from the comfort of an armchair, what more can I ask for?
There was also a great (one of my favourite) presentation on building your brand by Stephen Rose – Sr Community Manager from Windows Commercial Group. Explaining how the internet can be used to enhance your career.
I am also embarking on a journey too get certified with a Microsoft certification so this event will help me decide… I look forward to the MCCC 2011 event and if you are attending this year then find me on there! I will also be tweeting if i can stop watching the great content or will be keeping an eye on the #MCCC tag at Twitter.
